EXCURSIONS/SIGHTSEEING TOURS IN KHERSON AND FAMOUS PLACES OF KHERSON REGION

Kherson is an old city with a places worth to see. It is impossible to come in Kherson and not to visit Ekaterina's church, or the remains of rampart and of gates of the fortress. Kherson was founded by Potemkin as a city-fortress. But also the city became the main shipyard of southern part of the country. First ship of the Black Sea Fleet was built here in 1783. So, it is possible to see two ports in Kherson river port and sea port. The local museum of regional studies and art museum will tell you about the history of region and about the development of art and iconography in Kherson.
